Gilligan's Island

Had a great time sweating out the details (literally) and shooting video footage for the Gilligan's Island series that starts on June 15th. What a great team! Everything looked great and what a blast watching our Creative Arts Pastor, Kimberly Wallace, do what she does best. Make sure you don't miss this series of services at LTG.

Fun Stuff

Just a note... I picked up Og Mandino’s book “The Greatest Salesman in the World” and read it today.  WOW!  It was a great and fun read.  If you haven’t read it yet you should pick it up.  You can find it in the Christian Inspiration section of your local bookstore...    Tomorrow I’m going to read Larry Winget’s “Shut Up, Stop Whining and Get a Life”... I’ll let you know what I think about it..... I’m looking forward to my week.  I’m doing Creative office-ing this week.  I’m in Destin, Florida (don’t be a hater!) and I’m using skype and oovoo to network with my office and staff in Rivergate.  You gotta ask yourself.... How did we live without the internet?  Have a great Memorial Day and remember those that have served us in the military and those who paid the ultimate price for our freedom.  May the families of our fallen soldiers walk in the favor of God.  We must never forget what they gave their lives for...

Tawana Time!

Wow! I'm really looking forward to this week. Tawana and I will be
sneaking off for a week of just us. This is something that we always try to
include in our year of vacation planning. A definite time of doing
something cool with the kids and some time for just us. It is amazing how
it rekindles the fires of romance in a marriage. People always ask us how
we keep such a great relationship fresh.... that's one of the ways... being
together, with no cell phones (yes, the Blackberry will be off!) :) It
always helps to get away and recharge my creative batteries too. When you
are constantly in creation mode for messages and series for Living To Go
creativity can become a chore. So time away also helps to re-energize my
thinking process... ok...have I justified my vacation enough yet? :) see ya
when we get back!....
