What a crazy 2 weeks

I have to say that working with Jeff Deyo and his team was great. Martha (Jeff's better half) Phillip, Justin and many others were so awesome to work with. So much happened that week that I can't even begin to post it here but I want you to know that all of us at LTG believe in what God is doing through Jeff and Martha Deyo! The presence of God was so strong every night and every day that I'm having withdrawals now that PWI is done. Sunday morning was the same deal. God showed up and people began streaming to the altars! I never got to preach (what a shame.lol) 15 salvations and so many worshipers! WOW! I really don't think we'll ever be the same. I love it!

Pure Worship Encounter begins

I’m sitting here listening to Jeff Deyo sound-check and watching the low-end peel paint of my office wall.... (just kidding,,, just rattling the pictures on my wall) lol.... This is going to be a great week!  I love Jeff’s heart for worship and his desire to invest in and train people with a hunger to serve God this way.  Remember, every night is full on worship at 7pm.  The energy is really high and the expectation even higher for God to show up.  If you are in the Middle Tennessee area then it would be worth your drive to make it out one of these nights of worship.  I believe it will be life-changing for you.... The getaway gotaway

Finished up the getaway youth camp in Panama City last night and heading home. I'm really looking forward to getting home but I have had a blast with the young people from the Church at Indian Lake in Hendersonville this week. They are passionate about worship and it showed! Jonathan Lee was outstanding as always and Pastor David ran a great camp. Actually I think his wife did all the work but that's another story ;) we saw God do some really cool stuff. Definitely a week to remember.

The Getaway Youth Camp

Just pulled into Panama City for "The Getaway" Youth Camp where I'll be speaking this week. I love getting a chance to talk and hangout and (mostly) worship with young people. It always recharges me and gets me fired up! Looking forward to worshiping with Jonathan Lee for this week. He is leading worship so I know it'll be intimate and powerful. However, at the moment I'm in need of a quick nap :)

Downers

Its funny how we are affected by other people attitudes. You know those little comments that we blow off initially but they sit in the back of our mind just waiting for the chance to re-surface and discourage us.... I’ve learned in ministry that you can separate yourself from negativity to some extent but you can’t completely extract yourself from it altogether because you have to help lead people out of that mindset if you can. I believe some people are tragically stuck in a negative way of thinking and it is really hard to break free of it. I agree with Steven Furtick’s recent blog about fighting discouragement by encouraging others. I agree with him, I bet it ticks the enemy off when we encourage others instead discouraging them.
