Naptime?
Have you ever been tired? I mean just worn out.... Somehow this weekend really took it out of me. I’m now sitting at a coffee shop waiting for a friend to meet me and I’ve just got to thinking about rest. I’ve spoken with so many people, myself included, who have been doing some serious spiritual warfare. Yes....yes... I know the battle is the Lord’s but that doesn’t seem to help me much in the worry department. However I think that what I am learning (again:) is what we find in Psalm 91:1 ”He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.” What was that word.... REST.... I’m finding that the more I dwell or hang out with God and trust Him to watch out for me I’m much more “Rested”. I think that is a lesson for us all to learn repeatedly.... God really is in control.. Just trust Him.... And look for His shadow and take a nap :)

Thanks Pastor. It is so hard finding rest and as you said true rest is in the presence of the Lord and how do we do that? Prayer and fasting. That is how we really get into the presence of the Lord. He will hold us and give us the 'rest' we truly need. We just have to make time for Him. Please pray for that we can be obedient and seek His face.
