Over the last couple of weeks we’ve talked about the reality of prosperity in the life of a follower of Christ and the tools that God gave us to help us live that out everyday. Tonight we’ll be talking about one of the things that will close an open door of opportunity in your life. DOUBT…. That’s a big deal! Because I think that all of us have struggled with doubt through out our journey of faith. I really don’t know anybody arrogant enough to say that they’ve never battled with doubt. I think it is how God wired us. To question things… To seek out answers… It would seem to me that without doubt there could be no faith? I understand that doubt and faith are polar opposites but for one to exist there would have to be the opposite in existence as well. Let me explain my line of thinking a little more… There will come a time in our lives that we face our doubts nose to nose. That place where our faith is called to the table. Where you will have to ask yourself “do I really believe?” You see, I think that it is at those places of struggle that we really become committed to our faith in Christ.
Bottom line: I think that in order to climb to the next level that God has for you… YOU have to face your doubts and overcome them with faith with a true commitment to God. That place is where you’ll begin to see the reality of God’s promises for your life. You are either a casual believer, a convenient believer or a committed believer. Which one are you? What doubts do you need to face in order to really be “Empowered to Prosper”?
