Last week we talked about a critical-judgmental mindset and this week looked
at the result of a prideful, arrogant life and how we cannot be a fragrant
aroma to God with these kind of attitudes in place.
Phil. 2:5-11 5Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:
6Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something
to be grasped, 7but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a
servant, being made in human likeness. 8And being found in appearance as a
man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death-even death on a cross!
9Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that
is above every name, 10that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in
heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11and every tongue confess that
Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Some things to know when trying to be "well roasted" for God.
1. It's not your talent that moves you ahead in the Kingdom. It's your
attitude
2. We lose our anointing when we become more concerned about position
than we are about the Presence.
3. We must have proper self-awareness (or Perception)
If we don't keep ourselves humble.. God will! "They that know God will be
humble," John Flavel has said, ' and they that know themselves cannot be
proud." We must never forget that must have the attitude of Christ if we
want to see a real revival in our homes and in our lives.
By the way, what a weekend of services! The Holy Spirit just took over once
again and we saw people once again running to the altars. The entire time
became one huge altar call as we worshiped God and experienced His presence.
I love it! I wouldn't have wanted to be anywhere else in the world than
right there in that God Moment.

Thank you Pastor Clay for allowing God to speak through you and confirm what has been lain upon my heart. Over the last few weeks God has spoken to me in many different ways, such as in my spirit, sermons, or emails. The message has been consistent, "Do our Father's business". I am using that as a litmus test for everything that I do the rest of my life. If it is not in some way, 'doing my Father's business' then I probably do not need to do it. What was the attitude that was referenced in the scripture 'Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus'? It was the attitude of doing His Father's business, because Jesus did that in everything that He did. Even unto death 'death on a cross'.
Thank you Lord and help me to do my Father's business.
