I just wanted to address a couple thoughts that I've had during this season
of renewal at Living To Go.
1. The more I try to make things happen.... the more complicated they become
2. The more I give it to God in prayer and fasting the simpler it becomes...
My point being, that if we try to build a church (or anything in our lives)
by our talents and giftings without humbling ourselves before God, who has
given us this wonderful anointing, then it will be overly complicated and
top heavy and will eventually crumble to dust. Why? Because the anointing
of the holy Spirit is the glue that holds together the structure that He
provides.
I think that one of the most important things that I walk with daily now is
the understanding that all the dreams that God placed in me are not only
possible but practical when I remember the place where a stay on my knees
before God and seek His presence.... Position means nothing without His
Presence.

It is so true that God must be in control. Most of my life I have been to total control of my life and my surroundings (or so I thought). God little by little let me know that I was wrong. I still have to be reminded of who is in control. God is a good God, when I pray and fast and ask for things to be done He makes it happen. I may have to do the work but He provides the opportunity. I have come to learn that all those talents I have are given by Him and that anytime they can be taken away. So as you said Pastor, I place my knees firmly on the ground and thank Him for everything I am and everything I will be and all that is within me. Thank you Lord.
Keep it simple. A good plan indeed. Not to mention that when you are busy in prayer and fasting you dont have time to judge. Prayer and fasting can bring many things into your life. It brought me a wonderful wife who as I said in the valentine bulletin is the 2nd best thing to happen to me.I understand there were a few folks asking what the 1st was... well it was accepting Jesus as my Lord and Saviour.Another result of someone else's prayer and fasting on my behalf! Deliverance, friends, finances and favor at work and the ability to do what God has called me to do to name a few are some of the things that prayer and fasting has brought me. Oh yeah and a really great Pastor too.
Thanks P.C. love ya man
