IN HOT PURSUIT!

In Hot Pursuit

I grew up loving the original Dukes of Hazzard... (yes, I'm that old!)at some point during every program sheriff Roscoe P. Coltrane and Flash or Cletus was in hot pursuit of our heroes Bo & Luke... (and of course there was Daisy but that's a totally different story).  Roscoe was basically obsessed with capturing the Duke boys but always fell a little short in the end.  I was thinking this morning about obsession... our needed obsession of being in hot pursuit of the presence of God. We know through scripture that God is in divinely obsessed with us... but are we pursuing Him?  If so, what does that look like? Here a few thoughts for being ready to be in HOT PURSUIT! 

• Stay tuned up!  So you can react quickly and have all cylinders firing 
• Stayed Fueled up! Worst thing that could happen is to see the opportunity but you're sidelined because you didn't get gas!
• Keep the Motor Running!  I've learned that God is always moving. He's always doing something new and I don't want my motor to be cold when it's time to push the RPM's...
